Not so long ago, a fundamentally new generation of cargo slings appeared in Russia, made from a chain of the 8th strength class and imported components of the T(8) class, characterized by increased strength, extended service life, small size and weight, corrosion resistance. Due to the fact that the slings of the 8th class of quality have a small weight, work with them can be done by one person. The slings are manufactured with a safety factor of 4:1 and are made of various load capacities from 1.2 to 67.0 tons.

Currently, chain slings are widely used in the metallurgical industry, and therefore special attention is paid to their protection from high-temperature corrosion and oxidation. A special thermal coating of all elements of chain slings allows them to be operated in an acidic environment (pH<7) and at temperatures from -40°C to +200°C without reducing the load capacity.
