In Russia, most lifting operations are carried out using steel rope slings – these are construction and installation and loading and unloading operations, lifting and moving cargo by cranes at temperatures from -40 to +400 °C.

Rope slings are made single-branch or multi-branch (the so-called "spiders") with links for hanging on the hook of the crane or attaching the load, as well as ring in the form of a closed loop for direct binding of the load and loop.

Our company manufactures rope slings according to GOST 25573-82 and RD 10-33-93.

For the manufacture of loop and ring rope slings, we use ropes according to GOST 3079, GOST 7668, GOST 3071, the strands of which include a lot of steel wires, unlike the rope according to GOST 2688, which provides the flexibility of the sling and its longer service life. Basically, a clean rope is used, without lubrication. The sealing of the rope ends is performed by braiding or crimping with an aluminum sleeve. On the slings made by braiding, the ends of the strands are sealed using new technologies, using a heat-shrink tube.

In the manufacture of branch slings, we use imported hooks of type 320A, they are somewhat smaller than similar domestic hooks, but they are not inferior to them in carrying capacity.

By prior request, we can produce rope slings with other end elements (grippers, cable-stayed couches, rigging brackets, etc.), made of galvanized rope and with upper enlarged links for hanging on various crane hooks.
