Overhead cranes (beam cranes) with a lifting capacity of up to 8.0 tons are usually used in industrial workshops and construction sites with light and medium duty. Suitable for intrashop and open work, subject to temperature conditions from -20 °С to +40 °С. In a frost-resistant configuration, they are able to maintain performance from -50 °C. Overhead cranes are one of the most versatile and popular types of equipment in any type of production. If necessary, they are equipped with additional options that allow them to be adapted to solve a wide range of tasks. The service life is 20 years.

Overhead cranes consist of beams: two end and one central (or two for double-girder structures). Depending on the tasks and technical capabilities of the building, they are mounted on the crane tracks above or below them. A hoist or hoist with a hook underslung moves along the bridge and moves the load in the transverse or longitudinal direction. The equipment is equipped with a manual or electric drive type, controlled by a cable remote control, radio signal or from the cab. The maximum span of оverrunning cranes is 42,0 meters, underslung cranes - 15.0 meters for single-girder models and 24.0 meters for double-girder models.
